THE OPPORTUNITY

At Lightforce, the Financial Accountant is responsible for strengthening the financial accounting discipline across the Lightforce Group. The role supports the CFO and Finance team by ensuring the general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, fixed assets, consolidation inputs, financial controls and audit support are accurate, timely and well documented. The position is intended to provide additional technical rigour and reliability around financial accounting processes, while complementing the existing management accounting capability within the team.

The role will be responsible for:





- Owning the integrity of the general ledger, reconciliations and month-end close while strengthening financial controls and accuracy
- Delivering accurate financial reporting and provide high-quality support across group consolidation, audit, tax and statutory requirements
- Maintaining robust fixed asset and insurance processes while driving financial systems discipline, process improvement and ERP transition support

ABOUT YOU You will be a person who wants to grow your career under the mentorship of our very experienced Chief Financial Officer. You will hold a Bachelor of Accounting and be a CA/CPA, or actively working towards that certification.

You will have demonstrated experience in financial accounting, month end close, balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger control. You will have sound knowledge of Australian accounting standards, GST/BAS requirement and business compliance obligations.
