Some people dread month-end. You're the one who makes it boring, on purpose, because you'd spot a typo in a spreadsheet from across the room

We're after a Financial Accountant who gets genuine satisfaction from a reconciliation that closes clean, first go, every month. You'll own designated balance sheet reconciliations, keep our general ledger honest, and make sure our month-end close cycle runs like clockwork, not like a fire drill.

Based at our Arundel head office, you'll work closely with our Senior Financial Controller and Finance Manager, support statutory compliance (BAS, FBT, payroll tax workpapers), and get a genuine seat at the table as we rebuild our finance system from the ground up.

Some of the must-haves:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance

- 3+ years in a financial or management accounting role

- Robust Excel skills across reconciliations, schedules and variance analysis

- Working knowledge of accounting standards relevant to a trading entity

- Someone who hits monthly close deadlines without being chased, and flags issues early rather than sitting on them

Bonus points for:

- CA or CPA, completed or well underway

- Big 4 or mid-tier firm background, particularly audit





- Exposure to construction, civil or another project-based industry

- Multi-entity or group reporting and consolidation experience

- ERP experience, especially Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
