Godfrey Hirst is seeking a reliable and motivated Textile Machinist to join our carpet samples operations in Breakwater. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, repetitive production work and is comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the day.

What You'll Be Doing

This is an active manufacturing role where you'll spend most of your shift on your feet. You will be responsible for operating a range of production equipment, including:

- Sewing machines
- Auto sew machine
- Press
- Glue line
- Pick & Place
- Binding
- Labelling

Your day will involve:

- Continuous standing and walking
- Frequent lifting and carrying
- Repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Regular bending, reaching and twisting




- Working around manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels (PPE provided)
- General housekeeping and maintaining a clean work area
- Supporting production activities to keep the Samples facility running smoothly

- Can comfortably stand and walk for an entire shift
- Is happy performing repetitive tasks throughout the day
- Has the strength and fitness to undertake regular lifting and manual handling activitiesWorks safely and follows established processes
- Has a positive attitude and works well within a team

Full-Time Permanent Position, Monday to Friday
