As we find recent ways to connect rural communities with food, animal feed and industrial customers around the world, we are proud to say we're leading the way in sustainable agriculture.About the roleReporting to the Northern NSW Maintenance Manager and based flexibly from either Dubbo, Tamworth or Narrabri offices the Maintenance Planner is responsible for:Working with production to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for Northern NSW country operations (~40 sites)Planning materials, resources,
equipment and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance worksConsulting with operations supervisors / leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicingPartnering with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectivelyDevelop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance workMaintaining up-keep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance historyContinually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systemsThere is travel required in the role (about one in every three weeks) to sites in our Northern NSW country network, largely for shutdown and project planning.About your experienceOur ideal candidate has experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within any industry with preference for those with multi-site experience.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritisation and planning skills are a must in this position.You should also have:Planning experience in CMMS (SAP desirable)Robust mechanical / electrical understandingAwareness and understanding of budget constraintsAbility to work effectively under pressureTroubleshooting and diagnostic capabilityAbility and willingness to travel frequentlyIn addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
A current, valid driver's licence is also required.
