With manufacturing facilities in Victoria (Epping & Maryborough),Queensland (Nerang) & South Australia (Dublin) and multiple sales and warehouse / distribution offices Nationally, due to continued business growth, an excellent opportunity now exists for an accomplished and well experienced sales professional to lead our growth in the frozen and chilled fruit and vegetable category.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will take ownership of a portfolio of industrial, manufacturing and foodservice accounts, driving new business growth in this category and strengthening Edlyn's presence with customers nationally.

Key responsibilities of this position include (but not limited to):

Managing and growing existing industrial and foodservice accounts, including food manufacturers in bakery, dairy, beverage and ready meals, along with distributors and foodservice customers.

Identifying and converting new business opportunities across frozen, IQF, chilled and aseptic fruit and vegetable formats.

Working closely with our Innovation team to understand customer applications and recommend the right product, format and specification.

Maintaining accurate pipeline, forecasting and CRM records.

Representing Edlyn Foods at customer meetings, site visits and industry events.

Who we are looking for :

We are looking for a sales qualified with at least 7+ years' experience in B2B food ingredient or industrial food manufacturing sales.

You will possess:





Demonstrated B2B sales or account management experience in the food ingredients sector, ideally with a supplier, importer, distributor or manufacturer of frozen or chilled fruit and vegetables.

Sound working knowledge of product formats, specifications and applications, and confidence in discussing them with customers' technical and procurement teams.

An understanding of how global sourcing, seasonality and cold chain affect supply and pricing.

A consultative approach, with a track record of building long term customer relationships.

A tertiary qualification in food science, food technology or business is desirable but not essential.

An appropriate level salary package + car allowance has been designed to attract and retain the top talent for this position.
