Service Technician – Mildura, Victoria

Are you an experienced Service Technician looking for a role offering variety, autonomy and genuine career progression?

n

We're seeking a hands‐on Service Technician to service and maintain a range of automation, packaging, labelling and conveyor equipment across FMCG, food and fruit‐packing environments.

n

Based in Mildura, you'll work locally while travelling to the Adelaide Hills and Riverland approximately fortnightly to monthly, typically staying 1–2 nights per trip. We're also open to Adelaide-based candidates who are comfortable travelling to Mildura and regional sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Service, maintain and repair automation, packaging, labelling and conveyor equipment
n
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
n




- Perform preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability
n
- Attend customer sites across Mildura, the Adelaide Hills and Riverland
n
- Participate in the rotating on‐call roster and respond to breakdowns when required
n
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
n
- Support equipment installation, commissioning and continuous improvementBuild strong relationships with customers and provide professional technical support
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification or engineering background
n
- Experience as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Fitter, Electrician or similar
n
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, fruit packing or industrial automation
n
- Strong fault‐finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance skills
n
- Good communication, organisation and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Willingness to travel and stay away 1–2 nights at a time
n
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on‐call roster and work overtime when required
n
