The Opportunity

Core Crew is looking for qualified Fitters with a minimum of 2 years’ mine site experience to join our team, working FIFO from Perth to mining operations across Western Australia.

You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of mobile equipment, helping to maximise equipment availability and keep operations running safely.

What the Role Entails

- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile equipment such as haul trucks, excavators, dozers and loaders.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and engine faults.
- Complete breakdown repairs in the workshop and in the field.
- Replace and rebuild components in line with manufacturer and site standards.
- Follow all site safety procedures, including isolation and permit to work requirements.
- Accurately complete job cards,



service sheets and maintenance records.
- Travel FIFO from Perth to mine sites throughout Western Australia.

What You Will Need

- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Heavy Duty Fitter on a mine site.
- Solid fault-finding skills across engines, hydraulics and drivetrains.
- Strong commitment to safety and working to procedures.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Willingness to work FIFO rosters and remote site conditions.
- Ability to pass site medicals and drug and alcohol testing.
