ABOUT THE ROLE

Eilbeck Cranes is seeking an experienced and motivated Fitter Site Installer to join our team based in Truganina, VIC. This is a full-time permanent position involving the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a variety of industrial sites.

The successful candidate will work as part of a skilled installation team delivering projects throughout Victoria and interstate when required.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Installation of overhead travelling cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes, hoists, winches and associated equipment
- Mechanical assembly and fitting of crane components
- Alignment and installation of crane runway systems
- Crane removals, upgrades and modifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Conducting maintenance, repairs and fault finding on lifting equipment
- Working safely at heights and in industrial environments
- Ensuring all work complies with company and site safety requirements





ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Maintenance Fitter or similar
- Experience in heavy industrial installation, maintenance or construction environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- White Card
- EWP over 11m HRWL (desirable)
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Dogging, Rigging or Crane experience (advantageous)
- Ability to travel interstate when required
- Ability to work safely at heights
- Own basic hand tools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- Travel is required (local, regional and interstate)
- Approximately 10% to 30% travel outside the metropolitan area
- Standard 38-hour work week with overtime opportunities
- Standard hours are 7:00am to 3:06pm, with occasional weekend work as required
