Production Kitchen Supervisor - Green St (Wangara, WA)

About Us

Green Street Kitchen, a WA owned and operated small business, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee production of our handcrafted fermented food range.

We bring a contemporary approach to traditional fermentation methods, producing premium goods for retail. This is an opportunity to move away from the demands of restaurant kitchens into a structured, large-batch production environment, with your work landing directly on retail shelves.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Kitchen Manager to join our team. This role is well suited to candidates who enjoy large-batch food production and take pride in seeing their work reach retail shelves, and who may be looking for an alternative to the pace of restaurant kitchens.

You will manage and work within our production line, ensuring output is delivered efficiently and in line with strict quality standards. Our facility operates on weekdays with a 7am start.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining production output rates to meet delivery and stock deadlines
- Adhering to quality assurance protocols and valuable manufacturing practice
- Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work area
- Preparing raw and dry ingredients, including washing and processing
- Packaging (including bottling and jarring) premium products for retail sale
- Operating and maintaining packaging equipment, including automatic fillers and labelling machines
- Upholding workplace safety and end-of-day cleaning standards across all preparation areas

What We Offer

- Immediate start with ongoing work

- Competitive casual hourly rates
- On-the-job training provided

- Employee discounts

- Weekly pay cycle (Tuesdays)

- Convenient Wangara location

About You The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Knowledge or understanding of food safety requirements, quality assurance processes and HACCP systems

- Capacity to work efficiently under pace while maintaining accuracy
