About the role
This role involves operating powered industrial forklift trucks to load and unload produce, managing storage and delivery operations in a produce distribution workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial forklift trucks to load and unload produce
- Store produce in appropriate place so it can be easily accessed
- Prepare orders per printed delivery dockets and/or as directed by salespeople, place orders in delivery area
- Move produce to and from storage areas as directed by section manager/salespersons
- Deliver prepared orders to buyer bays and or buyer warehouses
- Maintain pallet delivery register and record pallets delivered to each buyer and pallets returned by each buyer
- Repack/sort produce from time to time
About you
- Valid driver licence required
- Valid forklift licence required
