Our client is a specialized manufacturer of mobile and fixed plant screening and crushing equipment used predominately in the mining and construction industry. The organization has specialized manufacturing facilities in Singapore, China and Perth with branches in every State in Australia.
Due to a high demand of their specialized equipment, our client has had an increase in orders of their products where they require additional Forklift / Warehouse & Yard team members for on going work.
Location, Working Days & Hours
- Location: Henderson
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (1/2 Hour Lunch)
Work Assignment Duration – Possible Temp to Perm The role will initially be classed as a temporary work assignment for 8 weeks (Possible extension) where over that period the supervisor will be able to assess the successful candidates work performance, attendance & time keeping and if to their satisfaction a permanent role will be offered.
The Role
Our client has a large stores department that stocks parts and materials as well as a large yard where bulky parts and materials are also stored. The parts and materials are used in the in-house manufacture of specialized mobile crushing and screening machinery and specialized fixed plant used in the mining and quarrying industries.
The stores department has a small team of approximately 3 to 5 team members that work across receivables, picking and internal distribution to the workshop in both the warehouse and a large yard.
Our client is seeking a Forklift Operator that has experience working in a Warehouse as well as a Yard where the following responsibilities include;
Forklift – Warehouse & Yard
- Forklift – Retrieving & Returning pallets or tubs from shelving in order to pick items
- Forklift – Distribution of palletized parts & materials to workshop crews
- Forklift – Yard related work from moving bulk items to designated areas
- Forklift – Unloading & loading Trucks
Pick & Pack - Warehouse
- Picking Orders off hard copy picking lists
- Packing orders into tubs or cages
- Receivables – unpack, check order, update hard copy con note and put away
- Packing deliveries onto pallets or tubs and putting away into designated areas
The Candidate We are seeking a candidate that has at least 1 year experience operating forklifts and working in a warehouse workplace.
Essential Criteria includes;
- High Risk Forklift License (LF)
- White Card
- At least 1 year experience operating a Forklift
- Possess good English skills – Verbal & Written
- Is able to & desires to work 10 hour days / 50 hour week
- Has a reliable vehicle & current drivers license to be able to start work in Henderson at 6:00 AM (unfortunately no public transport at that time)
- As a minimum, can commit to 8 weeks work or desires on-going work

Remuneration Depending on your Experience the pay rate will be between;
- $36.00 to $40.00 Per Hour (Flat)
