Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator / Yard Hand to join our team. In this role, you will support workshop operations by assisting with material handling, forklift operation, and general yard duties to ensure efficiency and safety across all activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and organise steelwork and materials
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Assist tradespeople with daily workshop tasks
- Handle, sort,



and prepare materials for fabrication and dispatch
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform general yard and labouring duties as required
- Contribute to team productivity and workflow efficiency

About You

- Current forklift licence with demonstrated operating experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or steel environment (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
