Customer Service Attendant – Mid and Closing Shifts

Note: Employees must be over 18 years old to work solo from 6:00pm, in accordance with award requirements.

Employment Type: Casual
Shift Times: Mix of 11:00am–6:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm
Shifts per Week: 2-3 shifts
Availability: Weekend availability required

Pay Rates (20+): n

n
- Weekday: $36.85 per hour
n

Key Responsibilities nn
- Deliver skilled and friendly customer service at the fuel console.
n
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately for fuel and retail transactions.
n
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions in line with company procedures.
n
- Work independently from 6:00pm, confidently managing the console and site operations.
n
- Complete end-of-day reconciliation and closing procedures accurately.
n
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the console, forecourt, and retail areas prior to close.
n
- Follow all safety and security procedures, including lock-up processes.
n




- Ensure the site remains safe and secure during evening trade.
n

- Highly reliable and punctual, particularly for closing shifts.

- Comfortable and confident working solo from 6:00pm (must be over 18).
n
- Robust attention to detail, especially with cash handling and reconciliation.
n
- Calm, confident, and capable of making sound decisions independently.
n
- Ability to follow structured procedures and security protocols.
n
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
n
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
n
