Job Description

We're looking for a qualified carpenter to join our building crew full time. You'll work across maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties, domestic builds, renovations and extensions – framing, fit-out, decks, pergolas, cladding and finishing, commercial new builds – structural framing, fit-out and finishing on council, government and community projects, and commercial bits and pieces – fit-outs, minor works, make-safes and repairs. You'll take jobs from start to finish, work alongside our plumbers, electricians and civil crew, and deal directly with clients on site.

Key responsibilities n

Maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties

Domestic builds, renovations and extensions – framing, fit-out, decks, pergolas, cladding and finishing

Commercial bits and pieces – fit-outs, minor works, make-safes and repairs

Take jobs from start to finish

Work alongside plumbers, electricians and civil crew

Deal directly with clients on site

About you n

Confident across maintenance, domestic and commercial new-build work

n

Current driver's licence and White Card

n

Your own hand and power tools

n

Able to read plans, set out and work unsupervised

n

Valuable communication – you'll be the face of IPM on a lot of jobs

n

Reliable, safety-focused and happy to muck in across other trades when needed
