Build local relationships and grow sales for Designer Doorware and Leef Slimline Doors.

We’re looking for a locally based sales representative to connect with architects, designers, builders and door suppliers across the Byron Bay–Brisbane corridor.

You’ll represent two complementary product ranges, doors and door hardware, giving customers one local contact to help find the right products for their projects.

The role

This is a hands-on sales role with a mix of developing new business and strengthening existing customer relationships.

Working from a home base within the territory, you’ll plan regular customer visits across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Byron Bay. You’ll have the independence to organise your week, with support from the sales, operations and customer service teams behind both brands.

Your focus will be to:

Build relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers and local door suppliers.

Find upcoming projects and introduce the doors and hardware suited to them.

Present products through customer meetings, product demonstrations and site visits.

Help customers select products, drawing on technical support from each business.

Follow up project enquiries, coordinate quotes with the relevant team and convert opportunities into sales.

Keep clear records of customer activity and project progress,



and share local market feedback.

About you

You’re comfortable starting conversations, building trust and staying in touch. You can organise your own schedule and follow through on the details that turn an enquiry into an order.

You’ll bring:

Sales or business development experience in building products, doors, hardware, joinery, interiors or a related field.

A practical approach to finding current business and looking after customers.

An interest in design and construction, and a willingness to learn both product ranges.

Good communication, organisation and follow-up skills.

A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel regularly throughout the territory.

Experience working with architects, designers or builders—and an established local network—would be an advantage. You don’t need to be an expert in both doors and hardware to apply.

You must live within the Byron Bay–Brisbane corridor. This is a locally based role requiring regular face-to-face customer visits.
