We are seeking to fill a part time leading to possible full time, front lift truck operator position. In this capacity you will work autonomously with the backing and expertise of our family business. The right candidate will also be trained up to operate Hook Lift, Crane Truck and Vacuum trucks.
If you have Front Lift truck experience, Hook Lift or Vacuum truck experience and want to start with approximately 35 hours a week (4am to 6am starts and rostered Saturday work) , then this may be the role for you.
We will consider training the right candidate if you have little to no experience and we ask that you address this in your cover letter to us.
This role requires some manual tasks including maneuvering bins,
dragging hoses and can be a times physically demanding - only reasonably fit people need apply.
To be successful in this role you will require;
- To be well presented, with a 'can do' attitude
- Have an HR license with driving experience
- Good communication skills, customer focused
- Valuable driving record
- Be punctual and reliable
- Possess Safety and awareness skills
- to be reasonably fit and healthy and must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening
- a National Police Clearance (or be willing to provide)
- Must be an Australian citizen
In this role you will be required to;
- Empty front lift and hook lift bins for clients around Adelaide in modern, twin steer vehicles.
- Work under the direction of a vibrant customer focused service team.
- Learn to operate Hooklift, Crane truck and liquid waste transport vehicles.
- Operate a crane truck for bin deliveries
- Operate Forklift
- Yard duties
