About Enoteca

Enoteca is a contemporary Italian restaurant in the heart of Adelaide’s East End, with a strong focus on genuine hospitality, quality food, considered wine and polished service. Our menu is built around modern Italian cooking, house-made pasta, premium produce and dishes from our charcoal grill, supported by a carefully curated wine and beverage list.

We are looking for experienced hospitality professionals who understand that great service goes beyond taking orders. It is about reading the table, understanding the menu, confidently discussing food and wine, anticipating guests’ needs and creating a dining experience that feels natural, knowledgeable and memorable.

The Role

We are seeking experienced Front of House Professionals who are confident working in a busy, high-quality restaurant environment. You will be responsible for providing polished and attentive table service while demonstrating a strong understanding of food, wine, spirits and cocktails.

You should be comfortable guiding guests through the menu, making informed recommendations, discussing wine styles and pairings, and delivering service with confidence and personality.

We are looking for people who see hospitality as a profession and take pride in continually developing their knowledge and service skills.

Your Responsibilities

- Deliver professional, warm and attentive table service
- Confidently explain our food menu, ingredients and preparation methods
- Provide knowledgeable wine recommendations and food pairings
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of wine, spirits, cocktails and beverages
- Guide guests through the dining experience and make considered recommendations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Understand dietary requirements and communicate accurately with the kitchen
- Maintain high standards of table presentation, cleanliness and venue presentation
- Assist with opening and closing procedures




- Work closely with the kitchen, bar and front of house team to ensure smooth service
- Contribute to a skilled, positive and high-performing team environment

What We’re Looking For

- Strong previous experience in a quality restaurant, wine bar or similar hospitality venue
- Sound knowledge of wine, food, spirits and cocktails
- Confidence discussing wine styles, varietals, regions and food pairings with guests
- Genuine interest in Italian food, wine and hospitality
- Current RSA Certificate – essential
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and high personal service standards
- Ability to read a table and adapt your service style to different guests
- Calm, organised and confident during busy services
- Reliable, punctual and professionally presented
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- A genuine desire to continue developing your hospitality knowledge and career

Formal wine qualifications such as WSET, CMS or equivalent training are highly regarded but not essential. Strong practical wine knowledge and a genuine interest in learning are equally important.
