Who we are For the Love Hospitality is a growing, professional and passionate group, run by sibling duo, Adam and Elisa Mariani. We’ve been creating since 2012, with current venues Greta and Maverick, both in the Melbourne CBD.

Elio’s Place

Elio’s Place is a vibrant bistro and bar in the heart of Melbourne's culinary district. Open early, up late, we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. The food and beverage offering showcases European bistro classics melded with contemporary Australian flair, it’s where old world European charm meets warm and the most welcoming hospitality.

About the role

We are seeking experienced senior waitstaff for part time and casual positions. Ensure all guests who dine with us have memorable experiences with warm hospitality, delicious food and beverage, and attentive service. Availability to work a versatile roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays is essential. The part time position offers 28-38 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver polished, personalised guest service.
- Maintain thorough food and beverage menu knowledge so as to guide customers.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally, responding promptly, and professionally.
- Follow company service standards and procedures consistently.




- Contribute to a cohesive team environment, support all teams, while reporting to management.

Skills and experience

- At least two years proven experience as a senior wait staff within an à la carte restaurant or bistro.
- Confident with 3-plate carrying and professional wine service.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine focus on guest experience.
- Adaptable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Current RSA certificate, with solid wine (WSET), spirit, and cocktail knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with the SevenRooms reservation platform is desirable.
