About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to join our growing team. The successful applicant will operate a range of earthmoving and land management machinery across a variety of projects throughout Launceston and the North East of Tasmania. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, operates machinery safely and efficiently, and understands the importance of producing a quality finished product.

Key responsibilities

- Safely operate excavators, loaders, skid steers and other earthmoving equipment
- Carry out land clearing, site preparation, earthworks and general land management activities
- Complete works to a high standard with attention to detail
- Perform daily machinery checks and report maintenance requirements
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and environmental requirements
- Assist with general labouring duties when required




- Travel to various work sites throughout Launceston and Tasmania

About you

- Previous experience operating earthmoving machinery
- Current driver's licence
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Safety-conscious and committed to following procedures
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and willing to undertake hands-on work
- Able to take direction and communicate effectively
- Flexible and willing to work across a variety of projects
- HR Licence as a minimum. Heavy combination desirable.
- Relevant machinery tickets or competencies
- Experience in land clearing, civil construction, agriculture or forestry
- White Card
