Full Time Female Support Worker – SIL (24-Hour Shift Cycle)

Location: Yangebup, Western Australia

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and reliable Full Time Support Workers (Female) to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) house. The service provides 24/7 support in a shared home workplace, focusing on participant safety, independence, and quality of life.

This role operates on a 24-hour shift cycle, including active support and an inactive sleepover.

Shift Structure

- AM Shift: 7:00 AM –3:00 PM (approx.)
- PM Shift : 3:00 PM – 7 AM next day including 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (inactive sleepover)

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-level personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and bed bath
- Perform manual handling using Full Hoist and Sara Steady safely and confidently
- Support participants with severe dysphagia, following mealtime management plans
- Administer medication in line with Medication Competency (Med Comp) standards
- Prepare nutritious meals and support feeding where required
- Assist with daily living activities and promote participant independence and skill development
- Complete accurate progress notes, incident reports, and compliance documentation
- Support participants across day, evening, and overnight routines, ensuring safety and wellbeing
- Transport participants to appointments and community access using own vehicle

Mandatory Requirements

- Medication Competency experience
- Severe Dysphagia Competency Certificate
- Demonstrated experience in SIL environment (essential)
- Experience with:
- Full Hoist
- Sara Steady
- Bed Bath and complex personal care
- Certificate III or IV in Disability / Community Services (or equivalent)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Manual Handling training
- Valid Driver’s Licence + Reliable Vehicle (mandatory for transport duties)
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
