Indigo Oscar is a vibrant beachfront restaurant and bar in the iconic Indiana building in Cottesloe. Overlooking the Indian ocean, the venue brings together bold, Latin American-inspired flavours, seasonal coastal produce and a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

Enjoy stunning ocean views every shift as you create memorable guest experiences in one of Perth's most iconic beachfront venues. We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to support our Head Chef and help lead a high-performing kitchen team.

About the Role

As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the delivery of exceptional food, maintaining high standards, and developing the team.

What You'll Be Doing

- Support daily kitchen operations and service delivery.
- Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with stock control, ordering and kitchen administration.
- Coach and develop kitchen team members.
- Maintain food safety and WHS compliance.
- Support events, functions and seasonal menu delivery.
- Act as Head Chef when required.

What You'll Bring

- Experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Chef de Partie or similar.
- Strong culinary skills and attention to detail.




- Experience leading and mentoring kitchen teams.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
- A positive, team-oriented approach and passion for hospitality.

Eligibility

- Applicants must have unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Hold a valid Food Safety Certificate (Essential) and willing to obtain Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
