Due to a recent surge in both standard enforcements and contested matters—alongside a major institutional client committing to moving 100% of their portfolios to us—our enforcement department is operating at 140% capacity. We are now seeking an entrepreneurial Litigation Senior Associate to work in our contested proceedings team.

The Role & The Work

As a Litigation Senior Associate you will be part of an independent profit centre handling complex mortgage enforcement and contested proceedings primarily in the Supreme Court of NSW (80%), QLD (10%), and VIC (10%). When borrowers lodge complex equitable or statutory defences—such as Misleading & Deceptive Conduct, Unconscionability, Forgery, Undue Influence, or Unjust Contracts—the matter is handed off to your team.

Key Responsibilities:





- Formulate highly commercial litigation strategies (focused on summary judgments and strike-out motions to bring matters to conclusion ASAP).
- Compile evidence, issue subpoenas, and draft/read comprehensive affidavits.
- Collaborate and load-balance with our highly experienced Litigation Special Counsel Rose Askew.

The Money: Uncapped Earning Potential

We offer a unique, transparent, and highly lucrative fee-share structure that rewards smart delegation and team performance. Fee share is calculated and paid weekly.

- Base Salary: $110,000 + Super.
- Year 1 OTE: $150,000 to $200,000+ (plus super), with a realistic 6-month ramp-up period.
- The Incentive Structure: You receive a Team Performance Component and an Associate Training Component tied directly to the revenue generated by your team (calculated from a 30–34% matrix of team earnings).

The Ultimate Goal: This structure incentivizes you to train your Associate to handle higher-level work. As they grow, your income increases while your workload decreases, eventually allowing for a highly lucrative, lighter lifestyle practice (think 10 AM to 4 PM).

About You

You are a sharp, commercially minded litigator who is tired of the traditional boardroom politics and wants to be paid directly for your output.

- Experience: Proven track record in complex commercial litigation, ideally with exposure to banking, finance, or Supreme Court property/mortgage enforcement disputes.
- Tech-Savvy: Enthusiastic about using cloud tech and AI tools to work smarter, not harder.
- Qualifications: You hold (or are eligible for) a Practising Certificate in Australia.
