Black Diamond Group’s Workforce Solutions Australia Division has a full-time position for General Laborer.

The General Laborer is responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repair and cleaning of Rental Fleet. This individual will assist with all loading and unloading of building movements through the fleet yard. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day or as agreed with the Manager.

This position is based out of the Stapylton in northern Gold Coast, Queensland.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a safety-first mindset, and a willingness to contribute across a variety of yard, maintenance, and fleet preparation tasks.

Duties And Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Prepare buildings for hire, including washing, cleaning, and general presentation.
- Assist with building repairs, maintenance, and general refurbishment activities.
- Install and fit windows, doors, mouldings, fixtures, and hardware.
- Perform sweeping and general cleanup of construction and work areas.
- Identify, report, and address potential hazards in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.
- Perform manual handling and material-handling duties as required.
- Safely load and unload buildings and materials using a 16-tonne forklift.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of frequently used materials and supplies.
- Organize and store returned materials, equipment, and items neatly in designated storage areas.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and provide direction to suppliers, delivery personnel, and contractors as required.
- Follow all company health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.





Qualifications

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively plan and organize tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute effectively in a team environment.
- Completion of secondary school education required.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid, unrestricted Queensland (QLD) driver’s licence.
- Valid forklift licence with demonstrated experience operating large machinery, including 16-tonne equipment.
- Must have valid work authorization/visa to work in Australia.
