MJT Group is currently looking for a General Handyman - Subcontractor to assist with the maintenance of a select group of residential premises and who is willing to tackle a wide range of jobs of all sizes across, but not limited to, the following areas:

- Wollongong
- Kiama
- Bowral
- Moss Vale
- Mittagong
- Ingleburn
- Campbelltown
- Liverpool
- North Sydney
- North Shore

The role will suit someone who is trustworthy, enjoys a variety of tasks, and is able to work independently. In addition to scheduled work, you will be required to assess jobs and submit quotations, so strong and professional communication with clients is important. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- General handyman duties;
- General maintenance and light repairs;
- Patching and painting holes in walls and ceilings;
- Undertake light installation or carpentry;
- Repair equipment or appliances;
- Report any maintenance, or other issues, that require specific expert skills.

Requirements and skills:

- Proven experience as handyman;
- Relevant contractor licenses and insurances are in place;




- Current drivers licence;
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment;
- Positive communication ability;
- Well-organized and apt in problem-solving;
- Attention to detail;
- Promptness.
