An established professional services Firm in Rockhampton is seeking a General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across the business.

This is a broad senior role with responsibility for driving performance, supporting Firm growth and ensuring the business operates effectively, efficiently and sustainably.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide oversight across:

- Business strategy and operational performance

- Governance, risk and compliance

- Financial and commercial management

- People, culture and Firm development

- Technology and practice management system implementation

- Projects and organisational change

- Business development and marketing

- Systems, processes and continuous improvement

You will be responsible for translating strategic priorities into practical plans, driving accountability and identifying opportunities to improve the way the Firm operates.

About You

We are looking for a confident and commercially minded leader who can operate comfortably at both a strategic and operational level.

You will ideally bring

- Demonstrated general management experience, preferably in professional services

- Strong commercial and financial acumen

- Experience across multiple business functions

- Solid governance, risk and compliance capability

- Experience leading people, projects and organisational change

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach

- High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
- A genuine commitment to continuous improvement

A tertiary qualification in business, management, HR, law or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
