We are a busy GP clinic (approx 3-4 FTE) in the Canterbury area looking for a hard working, caring Nurse to join our team. Our clinic has been caring for the community for over a decade, and you will be working to support our doctors and give your patients the best possible outcomes. You will enjoy a varied role including:

- Adult Vaccines/Injections
- Vaccinations: travel and childhood
- Health assessments
- Triage of emergency patients
- ECGs
- Assisting with minor procedures (excisions, implanons)
- Wound management
- Stock monitoring and ordering
- Recalls and practice population health measures
- Administrative tasks when required
- Recalls and Reminders system management
- Blood taking on occasion

We are looking for someone a minimum of two full days per week part time (Monday to Friday - No weekends/after hours/public holidays), but will consider part time applicants. Training can be provided to a right candidate. This is an exciting role for an RN who wants a good work-life balance but also the autonomy of running an entire Treatment Room.

You will have

- RN qualification




- Minimum one years’ experience in Nursing (preferred)
- Hold relevant Professional Registration with AHPRA;
- Computer literacy - fully computerised practice using Medical Director/Pracsoft/Hotdocs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge and/or ability to communicate in a busy clinical setting;
- Ability to prioritise, organise and perform tasks efficiently;
- Commitment to ongoing training;
- Comfort working independently within a supervised clinical environment and provision of basic health promotion
- Maintain patient and staff confidentiality at all times;
- Flexibility to meet the operating hours of the Practice.
