Quality Family Care Clinic is seeking full time General Practitioners to join our established and accredited GP training practice in Gympie, Queensland 4570.Both VR and suitably qualified non-VR General Practitioners are encouraged to apply.

The practice has an established patient base, providing both bulk-billed and privately billed services. The successful applicant will work alongside experienced VR General Practitioners, supported by a full-time Practice Manager, Registered Nurse and administration team. The practice is fully computerised, has multiple treatment rooms and offers online bookings.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct patient consultations, health assessments, diagnosis and treatment.
- Order and review diagnostic tests and communicate results to patients.
- Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare providers when required.
- Maintain accurate patient health records.
- Collaborate with doctors and practice staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain professional knowledge through continuing medical education and professional development.
- Provide respectful, patient-centred care.

Position Details





- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm
- No weekend work
- 60% of billings (estimated annual earnings of 100,000–180,000, depending on experience, registration status, billings and services provided)
- Additional remuneration for after-hours services

Skills and Experience

- Recognised medical qualification
- AHPRA registration, or eligibility for registration, as a medical practitioner
- Minimum 1 year’s relevant medical experience, including general practice or a related clinical setting
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary general practice team
