Maroondah Golf Courses are seeking a motivated PGA Associate to join the golf operations team across Ringwood Golf and Dorset Golf. Reporting to the Assistant Manager - Maroondah Golf, this role will support daily golf operations and contribute to delivering a professional, welcoming and high-quality golf and customer experience.

As part of one of Victoria’s leading public golf operations, the successful applicant will gain experience across two of the busiest public golf courses in the state. Maroondah Golf Courses have recently been recognised with several prestigious industry awards, including the Victorian MyGolf Junior Facility of the Year, the Golf Australia National Local Government Recognition Award, and selection as a current national finalist for MyGolf Facility of the Year. This is an exciting chance to develop within an award-winning organisation committed to growing the game of golf and delivering outstanding community outcomes.

About the role

The successful applicant will gain hands-on experience across golf operations, customer service, retail, bookings, tee-time management and event support.

The role will also provide valuable workplace experience aligned with the PGA of Australia Membership Pathway Program, supporting the development of practical skills in a professional golf environment.

- Assist with daily golf shop and customer service operations across both venues
- Support bookings, tee-time scheduling, competition administration and general enquiries
- Assist with retail sales, merchandising,



stock presentation and point-of-sale transactions
- Contribute to the delivery of golf programs, clinics, events and junior participation initiatives where required
- Work cooperatively with the broader Maroondah Golf team to maintain a welcoming, skilled and customer-focused environment
- Assist in online golf shop and stock management
- Help promote the facilities through social media such as Facebook.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

- Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience in sales and working within a sales-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work cooperatively as part of a team across two venues
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service at all times
- Proficiency in computer use, including familiarity with common software applications and the ability to quickly learn recent technologies
- Eligibility to enrol in, or current enrolment in, the PGA of Australia Membership Pathway Program.
- Sound knowledge of golf etiquette, rules and operations, or a strong willingness to develop this knowledge
- The flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and after-hours work
