About the role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Tailor to join our team at Atelier Alterations, located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.

What you'll be doing

- Performing a wide range of alterations, including hemming, taking in/letting out, shortening/lengthening, and more
- Working with precision to achieve the best possible fit and finish
- Using industrial and standard sewing machines confidently
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Supporting the team to deliver excellent service and uphold our reputation

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Tailor or Dressmaker
- Strong technical skills in garment alterations and construction
- Experience working with men's suiting (highly regarded)
- Ability to work across different garment types (men's, women's, etc.)
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
