JOB DESCRIPTION: Qualifications & Experience n

- 5+ years experience as a SAS Platform Administrator supporting enterprise SAS 9.xenvironments (preferably SAS 9.4).
n
- In-depth understanding of multi-tier SAS architecture including metadata, application,web, and compute servers.
n
- Robust expertise with SAS Management Console and metadata administration.
n
- Good Linux / RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration skills.
n
- Detailed knowledge of SAS platform security, performance tuning, backup, recovery,and storage management.
n
- Experience implementing monitoring solutions to meet platform SLAs.
n
- Understanding of data centre infrastructure including storage, virtualisation, andnetworking.
n
- Familiarity with Base SAS and Macro programming.
n
- Proficiency with Linux shell scripting.
n
- Experience integrating SAS with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL,Hadoop, Redshift, or SPDS.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
n
