Assistant, Investment Governance and Oversight

Diversa Trustees Limited (DTL) is a specialist Trustee company focusing on superannuation funds in Australia, including retail master trusts, corporate funds, platform (wraps), Pooled Superannuation Trusts, Eligible Rollover Funds, and insurance only funds.

Diversa has been operating for many years providing trustee services to approximately 24 APRA regulated superannuation funds, with in excess of $8 billion of assets under management.

This is a maternity leave cover prospect for the candidate to join the team on a fixed-term basis.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to the Head of Investment Oversight

Assist in the maintenance and implementation of the investment governance framework

Compiling and recording investment data and material to assist with the monitoring of investments

Working closely with the team to improve processes and data management.

Preparation and/or presentation of investment governance reports to Investment Committees, Boards, and regulators.

Knowledge and Experience

Tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline - in Finance, Commerce or Economics.

Minimum of 5 years relevant financial services experience.

Analytical, data manipulation, and Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team and demonstrate relationship building skills

Interested in investments and data management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Effectively manage deadlines and understand new concepts quickly

Proven problem-solving skills

Tenacity & resilience, ability to remain calm under pressure

Discretion and the ability to keep confidentiality

High level of attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills
