We're looking for a creative, proactive and commercially-minded Content & Social Strategy team member to join our Gold Coast team and help drive our social presence, content creation and brand growth.

This is a hands-on role that combines content creation with social strategy. You'll be out capturing content across our HQ, stores and warehouse, while also keeping across trends, developing creative ideas, planning content and monitoring performance.

We're looking for someone who understands social media, has a strong eye for content and knows how to turn ideas into content that gets people talking, engaging and ultimately shopping.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role based in our Burleigh Heads HQ, focused on creating engaging content and helping shape Proud Poppy's social media strategy.

You'll be responsible for capturing daily content across our HQ, stores and warehouse, creating Reels, TikToks and behind-the-scenes content, and working closely with the wider team to showcase products, launches and the Proud Poppy brand.

Alongside content creation, you'll stay across social trends, sounds and opportunities, help plan upcoming content and campaigns, develop creative concepts and monitor what's performing across our channels.





You'll work closely with the marketing team to bring campaigns to life, track social performance and identify what's working, what isn't and where we can improve.

This role would suit someone who is creative and hands-on but also thinks strategically and commercially about social media.

Key Responsibilities:Content Creation

- Capture daily photo and video content at HQ, stores and warehouse
- Film Reels, TikToks and behind-the-scenes content
- Coordinate product styling and showcase new arrivals
- Work closely with internal teams to capture timely content
- Create content for product launches, promotions and campaigns

Social Strategy

- Research trends, sounds and content opportunities
- Plan upcoming social media content and campaigns
- Develop creative concepts for launches and promotions
- Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and brand awareness
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
- Work with the marketing team on campaign execution
- Monitor social performance
- Report on social KPIs
- Identify what's working and what needs adjusting

About You: We're looking for someone who:

- Is based on the Gold Coast
- Has full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise has ongoing working rights in Australia




- Has a strong understanding of social media, particularly Instagram and TikTok
- Is creative, proactive and commercially minded
- Has a strong eye for engaging content and current social trends
- Is confident filming photo and video content
- Is comfortable being hands-on and capturing content across HQ, stores and warehouse
- Can turn ideas into creative, engaging content
- Is organised and able to manage multiple content priorities
- Has strong communication and collaboration skills
- Is tech-savvy and quick to learn new platforms and tools
- Is comfortable looking at performance data and using it to improve content
- Takes initiative and isn't afraid to test new ideas
- Has a genuine interest in fashion, social media and digital content
