Golf Course Grounds Attendant

Position can be casual or permanent.

Good availability to work a range of shifts into summer, including weekdays and some weekends preferred.

Contribute to the upkeep of our newly redeveloped golf course and clubhouse surrounds to keep them looking pristine.

What you'll do:

- Perform daily golf course maintenance tasks, including mowing fairways, roughs, and greens, trimming bunkers, and edging tee boxes.
- Assist with hand watering to ensure optimal turf health.
- Remove weeds, debris, and leaf litter from all areas, including pathways, parking lots, and cart paths, ensuring neat and tidy appearance.
- Identify and address issues related to turf health, pests, diseases, or potential hazards.
- Work alongside the Course team to assist with landscaping and course enhancement projects.
- Safely operate and maintain equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and specialised golf course machinery.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure and organised work area for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in grounds, landscaping, or golf course maintenance preferred.
- Ability to operate golf course specific maintenance equipment (mowers, blowers, UTV's).




- Solid attention to detail, independence in task management, and adaptability to outdoor working conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Strong reliability, time management, organisational, and teamwork skills to support an effective work environment.
- Availability to work a range of days across the week, with early morning starts.
