Role Description The Graduate AI Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Brisbane City (Newstead) QLD. In this role, you will help design, build, and test AI components for agentic AI teams, including data pipelines, model training workflows, and deployment scripts. You will work with senior engineers to implement and evaluate machine learning models, integrate them into production systems, and improve their performance and reliability.

Day-to-day activities include coding, debugging, documentation, code reviews, and participating in design discussions to ensure solutions meet client requirements.



You will also collaborate with cross-functional team members to understand use cases, refine specifications, and support ongoing maintenance and optimization of AI solutions.

Qualifications

- Foundational skills in programming (e.g., Python) and software engineering practices such as version control, testing, and debugging.
- Understanding of core AI and machine learning concepts, including model training, evaluation, and deployment workflows.
- Basic experience with data handling and analysis, including working with structured and unstructured data.
- Ability to research and apply new AI methods, tools, and frameworks in practical, real-world projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly in a collaborative setting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Interest in building production-grade AI systems and contributing to end-to-end solution delivery for global clients.
