Primary objective
Provide leadership and direction to the Community Benefit Fund team to support the effective and productive administration and delivery of Community Benefit Fund grant programs.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Lead, supervise and support a small team to deliver responsive, accurate and compliant grant management services in
accordance with relevant legislation, policies and guidelines, within a high-volume environment and competing operational priorities.
1. Deliver clear, accurate and timely written and verbal advice to internal and external stakeholders, including responding
to complex enquiries and providing guidance on Community Benefit Fund grant programs, processes and requirements.
1. Provide high-quality administrative,
coordination and secretariat support to the Community Benefit Committee, including
preparation of meeting papers, records, correspondence and follow-up actions to support effective governance and decision-making.
1. Provide practical system support, advice and troubleshooting assistance to internal and external GrantsNT users to
promote effective system use, resolve issues and support the timely administration of grant applications and funding processes.

Essential
1. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including the ability to supervise, motivate and develop staff,
manage performance and lead teams in a busy environment.
1. Demonstrated ability to identify issues and risks, develop practical solutions and contribute to improved business
processes and service delivery.
1. Experience in grants administration, including assessment, contracting, monitoring, reporting and use of grants
management systems.
1. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to prepare quality written material and build
productive stakeholder relationships.
1. Knowledge of governance, probity and accountability principles and the ability to apply relevant legislation, policies,
procedures and funding guidelines.
1. Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver quality
outcomes with limited supervision. Desirable
1. An understanding and knowledge of the policies, procedures and legislation administered by Licensing NT and ability to
apply them.
