Initial 2-month temporary Graphic Designer opportunity within state government.

Your new company An opportunity has become available for a talented Graphic Designer to join a well-regarded WA Government organisation on a temporary contract. Working within a collaborative creative team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality visual communications that support organisational objectives and brand consistency across a range of channels.

Your new role

Reporting to the Communications team, your responsibilities will include:

- Developing creative design solutions across digital, print and campaign collateral

- Creating artwork for social media, websites, digital advertising, publications, corporate documents and promotional materials

- Taking design concepts through to finished artwork, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the production process

- Applying established brand guidelines and maintaining visual identity standards

- Preparing artwork specifications and liaising with printers and external suppliers

- Conducting thorough proofing and quality assurance checks prior to publication or production

- Ensuring design outputs meet accessibility, copyright and industry compliance requirements

- Maintaining accurate design records and asset management systems





- Providing design advice and support to internal stakeholders across a variety of projects

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience delivering high-quality graphic design work across digital and print channels

- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- An understanding of branding principles, accessibility requirements and design best practice

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, production-ready artwork

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team environment
- A relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
