Guest Services / Duty Manager The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, versatile, and well-presented Guest Services / Duty Manager to work across both our Bellingen and Dorrigo properties.

This full-time position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives on variety and enjoys balancing front-of-house hospitality with hands-on operational leadership. Splitting your time between two distinct venues, you will ensure a seamless guest journey from check-in to check-out, support daily on-site operations, and work directly alongside our front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to maintain our high property standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Dual-Property Operations: Act as the on-site Duty Manager, seamlessly adapting to the daily operational needs and guest demographics of both the Bellingen and Dorrigo properties.
- Guest Services Excellence: Welcome guests, manage arrivals and departures, and deliver attentive, warm, and professional service. Efficiently resolve guest enquiries or complaints on the floor.
- Reservations & Inbound Sales: Accurately manage, enter, and amend room reservations. Handle guest enquiries confidently via phone and email, maximizing occupancy by converting enquiries into bookings.
- Hands-on Support: Coordinate and work alongside housekeeping and maintenance teams. Assist with room inspections, roster allocations, and physical tasks as required to ensure immaculate property presentation.
- Group & Event Coordination: Assist with the arrival logistics, room allocations, and hospitality service for coach tours, wedding parties, and conference groups.





Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Proven experience in Front Office, Guest Services, or a Duty Manager role within the hotel, motel, or resort sectors.
- Adaptability & Drive: Ability to confidently split working weeks between Bellingen and Dorrigo, managing varying property paces and priorities.
- Communication Skills: Natural ability to build immediate rapport with diverse guests, from independent travellers to large tour groups.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS)—ideally RMS Cloud—and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Compliance & Physical Fitness: Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. This role requires active, physical work on the floor, not just sitting behind a desk.
- Availability: Full flexibility to work a roster across a 7-day operating schedule, including regular weekends and public holidays based on business demands. Shift hours generally fall between 8:30am and 7:15pm.

Casual Guest Services & RSA Bar Attendant The Role We are seeking an energetic, adaptable, and customer-focused Casual Reception/Guest Services & RSA Bar Attendant to join our team.

In this flexible role, no two days are the same! You’ll split your time between two beautiful properties, stepping in wherever needed—from welcoming guests at reception to serving drinks at the pool bar, supporting RSA bar operations during events, and assisting with day-to-day property operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Guest Services & Reception Support: Welcome arriving guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, process payments, answer enquiries via phone and email,



and assist with guest requests to ensure an exceptional stay.
- Pool Bar & RSA Bar Services: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with NSW RSA regulations at our pool bar, function spaces, and venue bars as required by business demand.
- Event & Group Hospitality: Support bar service, guest hospitality, and beverage setups for weddings, tour groups, and special functions.
- Property & Floor Support: Assist with light room readiness checks, venue resets, and general site tidying to maintain high presentation standards across both venues.
- Customer Care: Handle guest enquiries and feedback with a warm, professional attitude and resolve on-the-spot requests promptly.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or bar service within hotel, resort, or venue environments.
- Current NSW RSA Certificate: Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is required (or willing to obtain prior to starting).
- Adaptability: Willingness and ability to work flexibly across both the Bellingen and Dorrigo locations as rostered.
- Strong Communication: Friendly, approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and teamwork.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic computer skills (experience with Property Management Systems like RMS Cloud is a bonus, but not essential).
- Flexibility & Physical Fitness: Ability to work a flexible casual roster across weekdays, weekends, evenings, and public holidays. Role involves active work on the floor, moving across the property, and standing during bar shifts.
