Role Responsibilities: Perform warranty repairs, paid repairs, servicing, testing and other gunsmithing activities to a consistently high standard.Provide technical advice and support to Sales and Customer Service, helping deliver timely and practical customer outcomes.Maintain the gunsmith workshop and range to ensure a safe, clean, functional and professional environment.Provide range testing capability and technical support to Military and Law Enforcement customers.Develop solid working relationships with internal teams, brand partners and industry contacts.Manage relevant gunsmithing, ballistics and destruction-goods inventory, ensuring accurate stock control and processing.Maintain accurate records and ensure all work is captured within company systems.Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation,



company policies, quality standards and WHS requirements, while contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Undertake International travel to suppliers for technical training and skills development Key Selection Criteria The successful person will ideally be able to demonstrate: Demonstrated experience in gunsmithing, firearm servicing and workshop activities, including the safe use of relevant machinery and equipment.Sound knowledge of applicable firearms legislation, trade requirements and Victorian regulations, together with a current and relevant firearms licence.Gunsmith / Armourer certification or a relevant equivalent trade qualification, such as Fitter & Turner.Previous experience within the firearms, shooting or associated industries.Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with good computer literacy including Microsoft Office and business applications.A current driver's licence and a strong commitment to WHS, safety and compliance.
