About the role

We are looking for an organised and caring SIL House Coordinator to keep one of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes running smoothly. The home supports participants with complex behaviour support needs, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You will be the day-to-day coordinator of the home. You will make sure routines, checklists and support plans happen on every shift. You will also work shifts on the floor and be the first point of contact for the team, participants and families.

What you will do

Check in with participants each month and report on their goals and progress

Make sure planned supports, activities and appointments happen each week

Check that shift, medication, incident and behaviour reports are completed every day

Keep house routines, checklists, WHS,



car logs and repairs on track

Write a explicit weekly house report

Remind staff about reports and training that is due

Show new team members the participants' routines and house rules

Pass any plan, safety or staff concerns to your Manager and the Client Service Manager straight away

Work closely with families and the wider support team

What you will bring

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability), or similar

At least 2 years of disability support experience

Experience following Behaviour Support Plans and supporting medication

Experience supporting people with complex behaviours of concern

Strong organisation skills and clear communication

Confidence using a staff app, email and basic reports

NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid and CPR, and a current Queensland driver's licence

Experience in a 24/7 SIL home

Experience with autism, intellectual disability, psychosocial disability or ABI
