The right Candidate for this business will have some experience pricing new build structure in either residential or commercial projects and be looking to elevate their career - they will help you & give you the tools & experience if you have the drive

Led by proven Directors in the commercial Tier 2 space who are extremely well connected, you will be working under the Estimating Manager who is specifically looking for a hungry & ambitious Junior Estimator to mentor. Having some experience in pricing new build construction, your duties will cover first principles Estimating carrying out full measures & importantly understanding what you are measuring, developing strategies to offer value engineered solutions to the Client in order to identify cost, time & quality savings, develop strong Subcontractor & Consultant relationships whilst honing your skills in how to competitively price & negotiate your tenders.

As you develop,



you will begin to understand cost planning for major commercial & residential new builds with the smallest tenders being around $30M and assisting on project pricing to $150M. Your client base will typically be blue chip publicly listed corporate entities or well known industry leading Developers. All work is within the private sector.

The business is led front and centre by 2 Directors. They are extremely well connected in the Sydney property market and are not driven by dollars and growth. They have built their reputation by delivering projects based on Safety, Quality and then Programme - In that order. They don't win their work because they are the cheapest, they win it because clients trust them to deliver a quality product on time with minimal defects.

With a turnover in excess of $300M, the business has a secured pipeline of projects for 3 years which puts them in a position of strength. Qualifications & Experience

You will have a tertiary qualification in Construction or come from a Trade background

This business is all about attitude - if you want to succeed, you will be motivated to work hard, learn new skills & develop

You will have a minimum of 12 months experience as an Estimator pricing new build construction projects

You will be adaptable, tech savvy & have an open & honest communication style
