Moyne Health Services in Port Fairy has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing Allied Health team as a Grade 2. This role can be worked on a part time or full time basis.

About the Role

The role of the Occupational Therapist is to provide therapeutic interventions, advice and education for clients referred to MHS.

Services provided may include adapting the environment, modifying tasks, teaching current skills, education and accessing supports.

The Occupational Therapist may also be consulted as a subject matter expert by other MHS departments or committees.

A range of Occupational Therapy services may be provided across the organisation in the following settings; Acute Ward, Community Health, Residential Aged Care, Social Support Groups and staff wellbeing programs.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy

Key Selection Criteria:

- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
- Knowledge and understanding of various funding streams and the available support programs available to people
- Service delivery experience within an Acute Hospital, Residential Aged Care and the Community Health sector.
- Understanding of Accreditation Standards, quality systems and continuous improvement models




- Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Intermediate skills (or higher) in Microsoft Office programs

Desirable Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated experience managing service provision within an allocated budget
- Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Standards and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS)
