We’re expanding our computing team to maintain momentum and deliver innovative features and quality-of-life improvements across our systems.

Who We’re Looking

For We are looking for an Android Developer interested in owning the development of our Kotlin-based warehouse scanner app to boost operational efficiency. We have a legacy system written in a Basic language (similar to Visual Basic) and your role would largely consist of trying to figure out how certain aspects of that system work and then turning it into a clean Java API for your fragments on the Android app to consume.

A Typical Week Might Include:

- Redesigning warehouse dispatch processes to improve efficiency
- Migrating the order to batch matching algorithm over to our new Java API and designing an Android screen to consume it
- Reviewing and approving pull requests from teammates
- Ensuring our Android app contains minimal amounts of tech debt.

We will never stop you from pausing feature work to fix tech debt you feel is important to tackle (within reason of course)

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year Ability to commute/relocate:

- Alexandria NSW 2015: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- "BASIC" family of programming languages (e.g. VB, PB, FB): 1 year (Required)
