About the role

You'll review and clean up item data in our ERP system, starting with our top 1,000–2,000 high-turnover items and then working through the wider range. This role suits someone with a trade or warehousing background, and who enjoys spreadsheets, spotting inconsistencies, and bringing order to large datasets.

Key responsibilities

- Review item records in our ERP system for accuracy and completeness
- Check and update supplier information, including supplier codes, costs and contact details
- Check trade pricing and profit margins, and flag anomalies for review
- Make sure products are correctly identified and categorised
- Find and resolve duplicates, obsolete items and missing data
- Work with purchasing, sales and management to confirm pricing and supplier changes
- Track progress and report on data quality improvements

About you





- Robust attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering and pivot tables are a real advantage)
- Experience with ERP, inventory or product data systems
- A basic understanding of cost, margin and pricing
- The ability to work independently and manage a large task over time
- Plumbing, hardware, trade or wholesale industry knowledge is helpful

About us We run a plumbing hardware division supplying trade customers. Our ERP system holds around 30,000 line items, and we want to improve the overall integrity of this data with the vision or developing toward an online store.
