Are you passionate about developing the next generation of Gippsland athletes?

Gippsland Sports Academy (GSA) is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced coaches to take on a Head Coach role within our sporting programs of Baseball, Hockey & Volleyball.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with talented athletes from across Gippsland and contribute to their sporting and personal development within a regional high-performance environment.

THE ROLE The Head Coach will play a key role in leading the GSA sporting program, including:

- Delivering high-quality, athlete-centred coaching sessions
- Supporting athlete development and performance
- Monitoring athlete progress and attendance
- Working collaboratively with GSA staff and other coaches
- Supporting athletes at approved competitions and tournaments, where required
- Encouraging participation in GSA Strength & Conditioning, education and athlete development activities
- Providing feedback and completing required program reports
- Maintaining a safe, positive and professional coaching environment

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are interested in coaches who:

✔ Hold appropriate coaching qualifications/accreditation

✔ Have experience working with developing or high-performance athletes





✔ Are passionate about athlete development

✔ Have a positive and athlete-centred coaching approach

✔ Are organised, reliable and qualified

✔ Are committed to child safety and athlete wellbeing

✔ Are willing to work collaboratively with GSA and relevant sporting organisations

✔ Willing to travel amongst the 6 Gippsland LGA’s (dependant on program)
