Head of Applied AI - Fraud

There are plenty of companies who bolt AI onto old detection systems. This one is rebuilding the platform from the ground up to be AI-first.

This is a senior leadership role with real scope. You'll own the architecture and delivery of a real-time detection platform operating at massive scale, and build the team that makes it work. It suits a technical leader who still gets into the detail, and who's more energised by building the platform than managing the roadmap around it.

What we're looking for

- A technical leader who can hold their own in a system and model design discussion
- Hands-on experience scaling real-time AI/ML detection systems, moving from rules-based to agentic architectures
- Genuinely fluent in applied AI, agentic design, MLOps, hybrid systems, not just familiar with the concepts
- A builder of strong teams who attracts outstanding people
