The Opportunity
Lead the projects and infrastructure that will help shape the future of Port of Newcastle and the Hunter Region
As Head of Delivery and Infrastructure Services, you will lead the delivery of PON’s project portfolio while providing strategic oversight of engineering and infrastructure services. Working across the business, you will drive delivery excellence and ensure projects are aligned to PON’s long term strategic objectives.
Leading a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Executive Leadership, project sponsors and key stakeholders to strengthen organisational capability and provide trusted advice on project performance, infrastructure risk and strategic priorities.
This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to influence major capital, strategic and business initiatives while contributing to the long-term growth, diversification and success of PON. You will help translate strategy into action, building the partnerships that enable successful project outcomes and lasting organisational impact.
What You'll Bring
We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative leader who can bring people together drive delivery excellence and influence outcomes across the organisation.
- Significant experience leading major capital or infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Extensive experience managing contractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Strong commercial, procurement and contract management expertise.
- Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
