About the role The Head of Finance is responsible for leading and managing the financial operations, strategy, governance, compliance and commercial performance of the organisation. The Head of Finance provides strategic advice to the CEO and Executive Team and oversees all aspects of financial management and strategy including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, compliance and financial risk management.

Key responsibilities

- Provide financial leadership to support organisational growth, sustainability and service excellence
- Lead all financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
- Oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Oversee financial controls
- Lead, mentor and develop the Finance Manager and broader finance team




- Manage relationships with bank, external auditors and tax agents
- Develop financial strategies that support NDIS market conditions, pricing arrangements and organisational objectives
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Executive Team
- Maintain solid financial controls and approval processes
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to the Executive Team and Board

About you

- CA/CPA qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- National Police Clearance
- Member CPA/CAANZ
- Minimum 5 years in a senior finance role
- Experience managing teams
- High integrity and accountability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level written and verbal communication skills
