The Opportunity Are you a high-performing lending specialist with a knack for leadership and a passion for process optimization? A prestigious, multi-disciplinary advisory firm is seeking a Head of Lending to spearhead their mortgage and finance division.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO , you will be the driving force behind the lending operations. This is a "player-coach" style role where you will manage a portfolio of complex cases while mentoring your team to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a small team across three East Coast locations to hit transparent individual and team KPIs.
- Operational Excellence: Identify bottlenecks and implement AI-assisted workflows or CRM enhancements to reduce time-to-settlement.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with internal partners (Tax, Wealth, Advisory) to convert high-quality referrals and expand the firm's lending footprint.




- Compliance & Risk: Oversee end-to-end workflow accuracy, ensuring strict adherence to MFAA/FBAA standards and industry regulations.

About You You are a seasoned finance professional who thrives in a professional services environment. You balance technical mastery with the "soft skills" required to manage stakeholders and mentor a diverse team.

Essential Criteria:

- Qualifications: Cert IV or Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.
- Credentials: Current MFAA/FBAA membership and an active broker license.
- Experience: At least 5 years in lending/brokerage with proven experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Technical Savvy: Strong knowledge of residential and commercial products, plus experience with lending CRMs.
