Brisbane Airport is entering a significant period of investment and growth, creating an opportunity for an experienced major projects leader to play a key role in shaping and delivering the next generation of airport infrastructure.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager Capital Delivery, the Head of Major Projects Delivery will lead the delivery of Brisbane Airport Corporation’s most significant capital projects and expansion programs. With a strong focus on major building projects, the role is accountable for successful execution through detailed design, construction, operational readiness and handover.

This is a broad leadership role with responsibility for providing direction across the portfolio, leading high-performing project teams and overseeing contractors, consultants and delivery partners. Strong commercial and delivery discipline will be critical, ensuring projects achieve the right balance of safety, quality, cost and program outcomes.

The airport environment brings a unique level of complexity to major project delivery, with projects carefully integrated into existing operations and delivered in partnership with a diverse stakeholder group including airlines, tenants, government agencies, regulators and internal business stakeholders. Success will require sound judgement,



solid stakeholder engagement capability and the ability to navigate competing priorities while maintaining momentum and a clear focus on delivery.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience delivering large-scale building projects within a similarly complex environment. A track record of leading projects valued above $100 million is essential, together with strong commercial capability across procurement, contracting, financial management and negotiation. Experience across both client and contractor environments would be highly regarded.

Beyond technical and commercial credentials, this role requires an experienced leader who builds trust and leads with transparency and accountability. Success will come from seeing major projects as part of the broader organisation rather than a portfolio operating in isolation, building strong relationships across BAC and understanding how delivery decisions impact the wider business. The ability to set clear direction and build capability within the team, while contributing as a senior leader across the enterprise, will be equally important.
