About The Role

We’re looking for a Head of People Partnering to lead our People Partnering, Talent, Employee Relations and Industrial Relations functions. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll be a trusted right hand to the CPO, helping turn organisational priorities into practical, contemporary people and workforce strategies.

This is a role for someone who can see the bigger picture and roll up their sleeves. You’ll build and nurture robust relationships with executives, leaders and your teams, providing level-headed advice on complex and sensitive people matters. Leading through experienced functional Leads, you’ll set direction, maintain oversight and step in when matters need your judgement or hands-on support.

In This Role, You Will

- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team with clear priorities and shared accountability.
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organisational change and complex people decisions.
- Oversee employee relations case management, ensuring sensitive matters are handled fairly, consistently and with care.
- Guide industrial relations strategy, including enterprise bargaining, union engagement and the application of employment obligations.




- Provide strategic oversight of talent acquisition to support current and future workforce needs.
- Bring fresh thinking to how people services are delivered, using workforce insights and feedback to improve the experience for leaders and employees.

About You You’re a confident and caring leader who earns trust through integrity, sound judgement and follow-through. You stay calm under pressure, build relationships that last and can give clear advice when the answer is difficult. You’re comfortable advising at executive level while staying close enough to the work to help your teams deliver. You bring a contemporary approach to people leadership: you’re curious about better ways of working, open to change and able to turn ideas into practical improvements. You’ll also bring significant senior leadership experience in a large, complex organisation, including experience across people partnering, employee and industrial relations, workforce planning and talent acquisition. You have strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, experience with complex case management and enterprise bargaining, and an understanding of the SCHADS Award and the environment in which it operates.
